When you break down your work into small and clearly separated tasks that can be completed in a reasonable time, you get instant feedback. Instant feedback is what you need to get better—to do deliberate practice. Instant feedback gained many times means you gain fast experience, because numerous feedback loops produce expertise and intuition.
intuition is not mysterious nor the opposite of rationality. intuition is the sedimentation of experiences and lessons.
