There really isn’t an avant-garde literary movement in the Philippines (and there are very few movements for that matter). Only the Bagay could be easily called a movement. What is happening are individual writers engaged in hybrid works (avant-garde + traditional poetry).
Per Ivan Labayne, what is avant-garde in his practice are those practices outside of writing (i.e., collaborations, organizing, joining alternative scenes, self-publishing).
I think it is a good thing that the Philippines resists literary movements.
