What happens on the page is entirely different. The level of attention given on the walk may not always show on the page. A focus on the page may take away from the focus on the walk. I may have great walks, but my writings based on them could be subpar.
Ideal: Pay attention on the walk and really enjoy it. Take just enough notes then pay equal attention to the recreation of the walk in writing.
