A letter may be a site. I am sure a word is a site. A phrase is a site. A sentence is a site.
When placed alongside each other, sites create a field.
When placed alongside each other, species of language create a field. The writer creates a field.
Now things become even more interesting when the words, phrases, and sentences in a text (say a poem) refer to existing site.
To do: Write a poem that reconstructs a physical field into something new.
It is difficult to aspire for coherence on the page when one constantly exists on division.
