Happiness is not the same as meaning

Ginhawa which defines a state of well-being, often akin to or leading to Happiness, is not the same as living a meaningful life. Sometimes, to live a life of Meaning necessitates accepting a measure of discomfort. This means that Happiness is not the ultimate value and, therefore, Hedonism is wrong.

Humans do not desire happiness alone. Humans also aspire for meaning, sometimes even more than happiness. The lives of the greatest exemplars of human kindness and compassion prove this.
